Advancing student success
The Office of Student Success advances student success through three integrated functions that work to improve outcomes for students across the university: Student Success Architecture and Governance; Academic Advising Oversight and Coordination; Programmatic Support for Students. This structure ensures that student success efforts are intentional, coordinated and responsive to student needs. For students, this means clearer pathways, stronger advising and coordinated support that meets them where they are.

Through a shared committee structure, the Office of Student Success leads the university’s strategy, bringing colleges and partners together to set priorities, align efforts, and ensure initiatives are data-driven, accountable and goal-oriented.
Academic Advising Oversight and Coordination
The Office of Student Success oversees academic advising across the university and collaborates with colleges to ensure shared standards, coordinated practices and ongoing improvement. It provides professional development to enhance advising, emphasizing advising's role in student retention and graduation.
Programmatic Support for Students
The Office of Student Success also delivers targeted, student-facing programs designed to help students succeed academically and persist to graduation. These initiatives provide accessible, proactive support—particularly at key transition points.
