How to Apply?
Most veterinary programs use the Veterinary Medical College Application Service (VMCAS), a common application system, followed by school specific applications. All Texas DVM programs use a common application system specific to the state of Texas (TMDSAS).
VMCAS
Veterinary Medical College Application Service
Many, but not all veterinary schools outside of Texas participate in VMCAS.
If a veterinary school is not a member of VMCAS, they will have their own individual application process and procedures.
TMDSAS
Texas Medical and Dental Schools Application Service
Texas residentsinterested in a Texas Veterinary Program MUST apply through TMDSAS.
Non-residents interested in Texas programs may apply through either TMDSAS or VMCAS.
