The Oklahoma Intercollegiate Legislature is a statewide mock legislature. OIL serves as an educational experience for college students and a forum for issues that ignite the passions of students of higher education across the state. OIL consists of an Executive Branch, a Legislative Branch (House of Representatives and Senate), a Judicial Branch (Moot Court Competition), and the OIL Press Corps (Journalism Competition).

The purpose of OSU Ethics Club is to promote ethics and academic integrity among OSU students and to facilitate the Ethics Bowl competition on campus and beyond.

The goal of the OSU Debate Club is to promote reasonable and formal verbal discourse. OSUDC encourages open-minded discussions over all ranges of topics and issues. The organization wants to help improve our members’ ability to articulate and speak, as well as pioneer their individual beliefs and thoughts for all to hear.

The NAACP’s principal objectives are to ensure the political, educational, social and economic equality of minority group citizens and to achieve equality of rights and eliminate race prejudice among the citizens of the United States. The NAACP seeks to remove all barriers of racial discrimination through democratic processes. This mission is accomplished by seeking the enactment and enforcement of federal, state and local laws securing civil rights, and by informing the public of the adverse effects of racial discrimination.
