FREE Dental & Vision Screenings

Monday, March 2 | 10am-2pm
Student Union 214 - Join Delta Dental, the Stillwater Noon Lions Club & OSU Pre-Optometry and Pre-Dental clubs for FREE dental and vision screenings! Open to all students, staff, faculty, and their dependents. Screenings are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Suture Clinic (Beginners)

Tuesday, March 3 | 5:30pm

North Classroom Building 102 - Join us for an Intro Suturing Clinic hosted by OSU Pre-Professional Health & Law Support Services, in partnership with the US Army Medical Reserves. This hands-on workshop is designed for students with little to no prior suturing experience who want to learn the fundamentals in a supportive learning environment. Participants will receive guided instruction on basic suturing techniques, proper instrument handling, and knot tying while gaining valuable hands-on practice. This is a great opportunity to explore clinical skills and build confidence early in your pre-professional journey.


  • Pre-Chiropractic Club Meeting | Tuesday, March 3rd | 6pm

    Location TBD (check instagram) - Guest Speaker: Dr. Shubert D.C. who has a chiropractic & natural health care clinic will be coming to speak to us and will be providing dinner.

    The purpose of this organization shall be to inspire, educate, and support students interested in pursuing a career in chiropractic medicine. Our goal is to provide a platform for members to explore the field of chiropractic care, enhance their understanding of holistic health, and prepare for chiropractic school admissions.

  • Pre-Optometry Club Meeting | Tuesday, March 3rd | 6pm

    Nancy Randolph Davis 330 - Information about the OAT + OptomCAS

    The Pre-Optometry club aims to aid pre-optometry students in learning about optometry as a profession, create a forum for students to communicate with optometry professionals, and familiarize students with the optometry program application process.

Lifesaving Skills Clinic

Wednesday, March 4 | 6pm

Ag Hall 135 - Join OSU Wellness and Alpha Epsilon Delta for an interactive clinic focused on essential lifesaving techniques, including CPR and other critical response skills. Participants will gain hands-on exposure to foundational skills that can make a difference in emergency situations—on campus, at home, or in the community. No prior experience required.


Suture Clinic (Advanced)

Thursday, March 5 | 5:30pm

North Classroom Building 101 - The Advanced Suturing Clinic, hosted by OSU Pre-Professional Health & Law Support Services in partnership with the US Army Medical Reserve, is designed for students who have previous suturing experience and are ready to further refine their skills. This interactive session will focus on more advanced techniques, improved precision, and efficiency, with individualized feedback from experienced instructors. Participants will build upon foundational knowledge while practicing in a realistic, hands-on setting—perfect for students seeking deeper clinical exposure and skill development.

    Practice in a panel-style session where you will strengthen your responses, get personalized feedback and boost your confidence iin a low-pressure setting.

  • ⭐"The Effect of Gender and Racial Bias in Supreme Court Confirmation Hearings on the Public" | Friday, March 6th | 12:45pm

    Dr. Paul M. Collins, Jr. will present, "The Effect of Gender and Racial Bias in Supreme Court Confirmation Hearings on the Public,” on Friday, March 6th at 12:45pm in the Social Sciences and Humanities Parlor (1st Floor).

    Paul M. Collins, Jr. is Professor of Legal Studies and Political Science at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in political science from Binghamton University and a B.S. in political science from the University of Scranton. His research focuses on understanding bias and inequality in the legal system, the selection and work of judges, social movement litigation, and how people experience the law. He has published articles in the American Political Science Review, Journal of Law and Courts, Journal of Politics, Law & Social Inquiry, Law & Society Review, Notre Dame Law Review, PLoS One, Political Research Quarterly, and other journals. His research has been funded by grants from the Dirksen Congressional Center and the National Science Foundation. He currently sits on the editorial board of the Journal of Politics and was a member of the editorial boards of the Justice System Journal, Law & Social Inquiry, Law & Society Review, and Political Research Quarterly. Collins is also the author of four books. Supreme Bias: Gender and Race in U.S. Supreme Court Confirmation Hearings, coauthored with Christina L. Boyd and Lori A. Ringhand, was published in 2023 by Stanford University Press. It received the 2024 C. Herman Pritchett Award from the Law and Courts Section of the American Political Science Association. This award recognizes Supreme Bias as the best book on law and courts published the previous year. The book was also recognized by Choice as a 2024 Outstanding Academic Title.

    A publicly engaged scholar, his research and commentary have appeared in a host of popular media outlets, including CNN, the National Law Journal, National Public Radio, New York Times, New Yorker, San Francisco Chronicle, Time, USA Today, Voice of America, Wall Street Journal, and the Washington Post. He has also authored articles in the New York Daily News, SCOTUSblog, Slate, The Conversation, The Hill, and the Washington Post. Collins is the founder and principal of Judicial Analytics, LLC, and has consulted with members of the United States Senate on Supreme Court nominations and legislation, as well as interest groups on their litigation strategies.

OSU Pre-Professional is offering the opportunity to take the practice tests in a "mock proctoring" environment here on campus, just like the real thing! Click on the link below to sign up through Princeton and if you would like to take advantage of the "mock proctoring" just show up on test day!

Student Union Ballroom - Career Services and Pre-Professional Support Services are excited to announce the 2nd annual Health, Vet and Law EXPO. This event builds on last years unique opportunity to connect students pursuing careers in health, veterinary medicine, and law with professional schools, internships, part-time employment, volunteer opportunities, and full-time/post-graduate positions. LifeNet Panel & Touch-A-Truck

Wednesday, March 11 | 12pm-4pm

Student Union Upper Plaza - Join Alpha Epsilon Delta and LifeNet EMS for a hands-on, walk-up experience during Pre-Health Week. An ambulance and team of EMTs/paramedics will be on site for tours, live equipment demonstrations, and an informal Q&A. Students will gain firsthand insight into EMS training pathways, daily responsibilities, and careers in pre-hospital emergency care.
