STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES
Student Support Services (SSS) is a federally funded program that provides comprehensive on-campus support for college-level students. From academic advising to personal mentoring, our services are free to students and aim to enhance retention and graduation rates at OSU. Your success is our priority!
What to expect
Participants in SSS will regularly connect with their assigned coordinator/advisor, receiving support in academic coaching, financial aid, career planning and navigating college life. Additional benefits include free tutoring, workshops and invitations to cultural events.

Eligibility requirements
To qualify for Student Support Services, you need to meet one of the following criteria and be a US citizen or permanent resident:
- Be a first-generation college student (neither parent has a four-year college bachelor's degree).
- Meet low-income criteria based on federal guidelines.
- Have a documented disability registered with Student Accessibility Services.
