If you meet all pre-qualifications and eligibility:

• Applications typically open in early August. 
• Applications are typically due the Friday before Labor Day.  
• Check OSU-DVM website. Don't miss the application deadline!

• Completed online application and fee.
• ACT/SAT scores.
• Official transcript(s): high school & college (if you have concurrent coursework).
• Two letters of recommendation.

OSU's College of Veterinary Medicine will invite qualified applicants to participate in a professional school interview as part of the selection process. 

• If selected, interviews will take place early in your freshman year. 

You will be notified during your freshman year either: 

• confirming provisional acceptance into OSU's College of Veterinary Medicine, or 
• recommending you re-apply through a traditional cycle during or after your junior year.  

 

If you were not accepted, don't give up! Very few students matriculate through the Early Acceptance Program. Work hard during your studies at OSU. Engage in other holistic development to better prepare you for professional school.
