If you meet all pre-qualifications and eligibility:
- Applications typically open in early fall.
- Applications are typically due around October 1st.
- Check OSU-COM website. Don't miss the application deadline!
- Application Materials
- Complete/submit OSU-COM 3+1 Med Bound application through OSU-College of Osteopathic Medicine. Contact osucomrecruitment@okstate.edu for more information.
- ACT/SAT scores.
- Official transcript(s): high school & college (if you have concurrent coursework).
- Two letters of recommendation: high school/college instructors.
- Pre-schedule an appointment with OSU academic advisor at the time of your application (early fall of your freshman year, typically before the application deadline) to complete the required OSU-COM 3+1 Med Bound Program Verification Form as part of your required program application.
- Next Step: Interviews
OSU-College of Osteopathic Medicine invite qualified applicants to participate in a professional school interview as part of the selection process.
- If selected, interviews will take place before the end of fall semester in your freshman year.
- Final Decisions
After your in-person interview, you will be notified of a decision by the end of fall semester during your freshman year, either:
- confirming provisional acceptance into 3+1 Med Bound Program with OSU-College of Osteopathic Medicine, or
- invited to later apply for medical school admission later through an alternative route to the field or as a traditional applicant during or after your junior year at OSU.
If you were not accepted, don't give up! This is a competitive program, opportunity, and only one route to the field. Work hard during your studies at OSU. Engage in your holistic development to better prepare you for professional school.
