Things to Know
- Nursing encompasses many different levels of education and professional roles, including Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Registered Nurse (RN).
- Graduates of both Associate (ADN) and Bachelor (BSN) nursing programs are eligible to sit for the same examination to become a Registered Nurse (RN).
- A BSN typically results in more opportunities for advancement, is more desirable to healthcare facilities, and is required to get into an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) program.
