2 Routes: Become a Public Health ProfessionalEveryone's pathway to become a public health professional is different. Common routes for OSU students include:

OSU Bachelor's: Public Health
OSU bachelor's degree in Public Health and/or consider a minor in public health.
There are no set requirements for certification in any public health career. However, it's still best to earn certification (minor, bachelor's, or master's). While it might not be required at the national or state level, certification is required by many employers.
Steps:
- Earn a OSU bachelor's degree in Health Education & Promotion: Public Health or
- Complete OSU's minor in Public Health.

OSU Bachelor's + Master's in Public Health
OSU Bachelor's degree then attend OSU's or another Masters of Public Health Program (MPH).
