3 Routes: Become a VeterinarianEveryone's pathway to become a veterinarian is different. Common routes for OSU students:

  •  OSU-DVM Early Admission Program

OSU-DVM Early Admission Program at OSU's College of Veterinary Medicine offers early admission for highly qualified OSU freshmen.

    Steps:

    • OSU-Stillwater freshmen entering with superior academic performance ready to commit early to OSU's Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program.
    • Applications typically open in August and are due in mid-September of your freshman year at OSU.
    • Accepted applicants have a guaranteed seat in OSU-DVM program upon completion of their OSU bachelor's degree, provided they continue to meet ongoing academic and extracurricular requirements laid out by the Early Admission Program.
