Legal Internships
Occasionally law firms, corporations, or local/tribal governments have openings for legal interns, assistants, clerks, or file runners. While many internships are aimed at current law students, some may be open to undergraduates exploring their interest in the legal field. A legal experience is not required before law school, but may help you further explore your interest and fit in the legal field. Wilson Stephens Swafford Law PLLC is looking for part time legal interns for the Spring 25 semester and beyond (if the fit is right).
Ideal applicants are interested in attending law school, with a baseline knowledge of legal terminology, and strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities May Include:
- Case file management;
- Scheduling appointments;
- Maintaining calendars;
- Learning legal procedures; and
- Interacting with clients, attorneys, and court professionals.
Applicants must also demonstrate professionalism, the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality, be proficient in MS Word & Excel, and have excellent typing abilities.

Gordon Law Firm

Gordon Law Firm is looking for a part time legal intern for the Spring 2025* semester on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 9:00-Noon & 1:00 - 4:30 PM.
Work will be exclusively in international immigration law.
Responsibilities Include:
- conducting legal research;
- preparing legal memorandums; and
- preparing immigration filings and client affidavits.
Applicants should have strong writing skills and attention to detail.
