Health, Vet & Law Week EXPO
Wednesday, March 11 - 10:30am-2pm
Student Union Ballroom - Career Services and Pre-Professional Support Services are excited to announce the
2nd annual Health, Vet and Law EXPO. This event builds on last years unique opportunity
to connect students pursuing careers in health, veterinary medicine, and law with
professional schools, internships, part-time employment, volunteer opportunities,
and full-time/post-graduate positions. More info coming soon!
DIY Wednesday with SUAB
Wednesday, March 4- Time TBD
Student Union Plaza - Students unleashed their creativity and de-stressed with a fun, hands-on are project!
Specifics TBD. In partnership with the Student Union Activities Board, this event
is designed for all students, especially pre-health and pre-vet students, to practice
fine motor skills in a relaxing, no-pressure environment.

Suture Clinic
An exclusive Suture Clinic hosted by OSU Pre-Professional Health & Law Support Services,
in partnership with the US Army Medical Corps! This hands-on workshop was designed
for any student eager to gain practical experience in suturing techniques.
Free Dental & Vision Screenings
Delta Dental of Oklahoma & the Stillwater Noon Lions Club provided free dental and
vision screens to OSU students, staff, faculty and their dependents.
DIY Wednesday with SUAB
Students unleashed their creativity and de-stressed with a fun, hands-on sand art
project! In partnership with the Student Union Activities Board, this event was designed
for pre-health and pre-vet students to practice fine motor skills in a relaxing, no-pressure
environment. Pour, layer, and design your own colorful masterpiece—no artistic skills
required!
Premedical Student Conference
One-day conference about health care and medical education with Kansas physicians,
scientists, advisors, and potential medical students. Features include discussions
about the MCAT and applying to medical school, tips for successful admissions interviews,
and question-and-answer sessions with physicians and medical students. The annual
conference is intended for students interested in medicine who are currently in an
undergraduate program.
Personal Statement Workshop
Students joined us to learn essential tips for creating a compelling and thorough personal statement. They discovered what to include, common mistakes to avoid, and how to make their story stand out. Open to all majors!
Virtual MCAT Practice
OSU Pre-Professional and The Princeton Review joined for a comprehensive mock MCAT
practice test, designed to give students a real-world experience of the exam to make
a competitive medical school applicant.
Suture Clinic
Students joined us for an exclusive Suture Clinic hosted by OSU Pre-Professional Health
& Law Support Services, in partnership with students from OSU-COM! This hands-on workshop
was designed for any student eager to gain practical experience in suturing techniques.
Dental Kit Packing Event
OSU Pre-Dental Club and OSU Alpha Epsilon Delta, the OSU Pre-Health Honor Society,
joined for an evening of fellowship and service. They packed over 500 dental hygiene
kits. OSU's Pre-Professional office and Delta Dental provided dinner and signed off
on DOUBLE service hours. This means for every hour of service, Pre-Professional signed
off on 2 hours of service, due to the nature of the event!
Health, Vet & Law Week Fair
Career Services and Pre-Professional Support Services were excited to announce the
inaugural Health, Vet and Law Fair. This event was a unique opportunity to connect
students pursuing careers in health, veterinary medicine, and law with professional
schools, internships, part-time employment, volunteer opportunities, and full-time/post-graduate
positions.
Hands-On Health Skills Clinic
Students were invited to get real-world experience with essential medical skills in
this interactive clinic led by healthcare professionals. Perfect for pre-health, pre-med,
and pre-vet students, this event was set to feature hands-on stations covering techniques
used in medicine, veterinary care, and other health fields. THIS EVENT WAS CANCELLED
BY EVENT ORGANIZERS.
