FREE Dental & Vision Screenings

Monday, March 3 | 10am-2pm
Jorns Hall - Nancy Randolph Davis 180 - Join Delta Dental, the Stillwater Noon Lions Club & OSU Pre-Optometry and Pre-Dental clubs for FREE dental and vision screenings!
Open to all students, staff, faculty, and their dependents. Screenings are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Suture Clinic (Beginners)

Tuesday, March 3 | 5:30pm
North Classroom Building 102 - Join us for an Intro Suturing Clinic hosted by OSU Pre-Professional Health & Law Support Services, in partnership with the US Army Medical Reserves. This hands-on workshop is designed for students with little to no prior suturing experience who want to learn the fundamentals in a supportive learning environment. Participants will receive guided instruction on basic suturing techniques, proper instrument handling, and knot tying while gaining valuable hands-on practice. This is a great opportunity to explore clinical skills and build confidence early in your pre-professional journey.
  • Pre-Optometry Student Association Meeting | March 3 | 6pm

    Nancy Randolph Davis Room 330 - Our goals are to aid pre-optometry students in learning about optometry as a profession, create a forum for students to communicate with optometry professionals, and familiarize students with the optometry program application process.

DIY Wednesday with SUAB

Wednesday, March 4 | 11am-2pm
Student Union Plaza - Students unleashed their creativity and de-stressed with a fun, hands-on are project! Specifics TBD. In partnership with the Student Union Activities Board, this event is designed for all students, especially pre-health and pre-vet students, to practice fine motor skills in a relaxing, no-pressure environment.
  • Christian Medical & Dental Assocation Meeting | March 4 | 6pm

    Student Union Room 040 - Whether you are Pre-Med, Pre-Dental, Pre-PA, Pre-OT, Pre-Optometry, Pre-PT, Pre-Chiropractic, Pharmacy, Athletic Training, Dietetics, etc., pray about jumping into the community with a heart ready to learn, serve, and love! We can do much more together than on our own! 

Suture Clinic (Advanced)

Thursday, March 5 | 5:30pm
North Classroom Building 101 - The Advanced Suturing Clinic, hosted by OSU Pre-Professional Health & Law Support Services in partnership with the US Army Medical Reserve, is designed for students who have previous suturing experience and are ready to further refine their skills. This interactive session will focus on more advanced techniques, improved precision, and efficiency, with individualized feedback from experienced instructors. Participants will build upon foundational knowledge while practicing in a realistic, hands-on setting—perfect for students seeking deeper clinical exposure and skill development.
  • American Student Dental Association Meeting | March 5 | 6pm

    Student Union Room 040 - The Oklahoma State Pre-Dental Club (a member of the nationwide ASDA) is here to help guide and support you through your pre-dental and pre-hygiene endeavors, whether it be to dental school, dental hygiene, or dental assisting. Our purpose is to help support the dental community at Oklahoma State University and help better the community around us through community outreach, service, and promotion of dental health to the students of OSU. ASDA is an organization active at both undergraduate colleges and dental schools across the country! Come join us! 

  • HOSA Chapter Meeting | March 5 | 7:15pm
    Classroom Building Room 101 - HOSA serves to provide members with a network of fellow students with similar career interests, as well as a network of healthcare professionals. We strive to provide students with opportunities to grow their skills and experiences in healthcare.
  • Global Medical Brigades Meeting | March 5 | 8:15pm
    Classroom Building Room 213 - GMB provides students with the opportunity to experience hands-on training under licensed medical professionals, distribute medicines under licensed pharmacists, and facilitate preventative medicine workshops in the rural communities of Ghana, Greece, Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, and Panama.

KU Premedical Student Conference

Saturday, March 7 | 9:30am-4pm
Kansas State University - Each year, Kansas physicians, scientists, advisors, and potential medical students come together for this one-day conference about health care and medical education. Features include discussions about the MCAT and applying to medical school, tips for successful admissions interviews, and question-and-answer sessions with physicians and medical students. The annual conference is intended for students who are interested in medicine who are currently in an undergraduate program or completed a degree, and premedical advisors. OSU is providing transportation and fee reimbursement for a limited number of students.

MCAT, DAT, LSAT & GRE Practice Testing

Sunday, March 8 | 9am
107 Engineering South or Online - Princeton Review is offering OSU students the opportunity to take FREE online practice tests including the MCAT, DAT, LSAT and GRE! OSU Pre-Professional is offering the opportunity to take the practice tests in a "mock proctoring" environment here on campus, just like the real thing! Click on the link below to sign up through Princeton and if you would like to take advantage of the "mock proctoring" just show up on test day!

Personal Statement Workshop

107 Engineering South - Craft the perfect personal statement! Join us to learn essential tips for creating a compelling and thorough personal statement. Discover what to include, common mistakes to avoid, and how to make your story stand out. Whether you're polishing a rough draft or starting from scratch, bring what you have, and we'll help you take it to the next level! Open to all majors!

OSU-Medicine Pre-Med Advising

040 Student Union Basement - The OSU-College of Osteopathic Medicine Recruitment team is happy to help you!  They're scheduling advisement appointments with prospective pre-med students who want to discuss their transcripts, personal statements, or questions about the application process. They will be seeing students on a walk-in basis as well as pre-scheduled times. To make an appointment, use the link below, or show up the day of.

Health, Vet & Law Week EXPO

Student Union Ballroom - Career Services and Pre-Professional Support Services are excited to announce the 2nd annual Health, Vet and Law EXPO. This event builds on last years unique opportunity to connect students pursuing careers in health, veterinary medicine, and law with professional schools, internships, part-time employment, volunteer opportunities, and full-time/post-graduate positions.
